Cherry (henrietta) the Dog needs a home

My name is Cherry and I am a 2 year old momma dog with a lot of love to give. I was abandoned at an animal shelter in Valencia, NM when I was very very pregnant. I didn't understand why my family dropped me off there, or why I had to give birth to my five puppies on a cold concrete floor. Where was my mom? Me and my puppies were in danger of being euthanized because the shelter was too full, then MAMCO stepped in and came to our rescue. I got to raise my puppies in a nice foster home where people took very good care of me and loved me every day. Unfortunately, I could not stay in that foster home after the puppies were adopted because I am not good with small animals or cats. I tried to eat the family ferret and my foster mom wasn't happy. I told her that I was trying to save her from the intruder, but she didn't care. I am in a new foster home now, but I'd really like to find a forever home. I want to be safe forever. Can you help me find my forever family>
I get along well with most dogs. I am not a fan of little dogs. I have good house manners, but I could really use some training. My favorite past time is taking walks.
